County commissioner and supervisor board proceedings (1802-1941) transcripts include both manuscript and typed county board transcripts for all Illinois counties except Brown, Carroll, and Cook. Board proceedings concern county matters including expenditure approval; road, bridge and county building construction; tavern and ferry licensing; and county school superintendent reports. Sometimes only a proceedings digest is included; and Champaign County transcripts cover only county court proceedings (1833-1867).
